Commercial Ice Flakers, are designed and manufactured to cater for a growing number of applications. They offer the best solution for maintaining refrigerated perishables where long-lasting freshness and natural appearance need to be guaranteed. Flake ice’s ability to rapidly cool items immersed in it makes it the ideal ice choice, given that ‘freeze-burn’ is prevented, for displaying fish, fresh food and bottled beverages; therapeutic use in medical, research and laboratory applications, such as organ transportation. Flake ice is often used to prepare cocktails and drinks because of the quickness of cooling and limited dilution of drinks. The FM-300AKE-HC-SB energy efficient, freestanding commercial ice flaker uses environmentally friendly refrigerant. The Hoshizaki’s unique auger system enables this machine to produce up to 300kg of flake ice in 24 hours. The unit is a self-contained ice maker, which we can supply with a B-301SA modular ice storage bin. The B-301SA bin has a max storage capacity 144Kg.
