The challenge

• Heating solutions often require a consideration for noise levels & emissions management – particularly in public sector environments. Cross Rental Services provide a TOTAL managed service to incorporate every customer consideration.
• In this instance Cross were asked to heat a 70,000 metre squared building, with a carefully managed solution incorporating shift patterns, fume extraction & decibel level management – in addition to the heating solution

The solution

• Cross Rental Services first undertook an in depth site survey through our team of expert engineers
• On specification we subsequently installed an externally placed 600kW containerised boiler, connected internally to 4 x 200 kW air handling units, via flexible boiler hose with quick coupler connections, time clock linked & controlled via thermostat – for full temperature control
• Air handling units were positioned on scaffold platforms, protected by barriers for site safety & sound management
• Fume extraction was delivered through 8 independent extraction systems & a ducting network
