We’ll do the legwork

Not only will Cross Rental Services deliver and install all your refrigeration and catering equipment at a time that suits you, we’ll collect it again after the show has ended. And in the unlikely event of a breakdown, we’ll have a service engineer available to deal with any issues.

What types of refrigeration and catering equipment do you offer for rent?

We offer a wide range of products for events – the products can be viewed here or in our online brochure (with links).

How can I determine the right size and quantity of equipment needed for my event?

Call or email us and we will be happy to discuss your individual needs. We have a huge amount of experience in the events industry and understand the unique requirements of displaying many types of food products.

Are your refrigeration units suitable for both indoor and outdoor events?

All our refrigeration & catering equipment with the exception of coldrooms and containers must be covered at all times to protect it from the elements. If it is an outdoor event and marquees are being used, you must ensure that the floor and marquee are complete before delivery. Call us today to discuss your specific requirements.

What are the power requirements for the equipment?

Most of our event’s equipment works on single phase. We do have products, such as ovens, that require 3-phase electric, view our events brochure to see power requirements of each unit. Or call to discuss your specific requirements and we can help you map out the power requirement and outlets needed for your stand or space.

Do you provide delivery, setup, and pickup services for the rented equipment?

Yes. For Health and Safety and to comply with event organisers set up we deliver the units on-site on a date specified by the event or exhibition organiser and then remove them after the show. Delivering to your stand and setting the units in place also ensures that our units are not damaged. You will need to stock and remove stock from the units at the end of the show.
For international events, we ship all the units ahead of time to ensure they arrive on time.

Is there a minimum or maximum rental period?

The rental period will be determined by the length of the show you are attending.

What is the rental cost and are there any additional fees?

The rental cost will vary depending on equipment needed and how long they are required, however, all quoted prices from our team will include delivery and collection and there are no hidden charges.

Do you have a minimum order value?

Yes, the minimum order value for an event must be €500.

Is there a deposit required, and what are your payment terms?

Full payment of your order is required in advance of dispatch. If you cancel an order within 7 working days of the delivery date the full balance of the order will still be due.

Do you offer technical support or assistance during the rental period?

Yes. If there is an issue with the equipment simply contact your sales rep to report it and they will log a call to have an engineer attend. Depending on the location of the event please allow up to four (4) working hours.

Can I make changes to my rental order after it has been confirmed?

Provided it is seven (7) working days before the delivery date, changes to the order should be fine. Please contact to discuss.

Are there any restrictions on where the equipment can be used or installed?

Once the equipment has been delivered to the event, it is your responsibility to ensure the items are kept in a secure location and covered from the elements at all times. You should not relocate the equipment without discussion with your account manager.

What is the cancellation policy if I need to cancel or modify my order?

If you cancel an order within seven (7) working days of the delivery date the full balance of the order will still be due.

Are there any special requirements for insurance or liability coverage?

We offer a damage waiver/insurance with each order which is charged at 7.5%. This covers you against damage to the unit to the cost of €3000. If you choose not to avail of this damage waiver, then you will be liable for any repair costs if the unit is damaged. If the equipment is lost while in your possession, then you will be liable for the replacement value.

I am looking at attending 2 events in London & Dubai this year, are you able to help me with this? They would need to be branded too.

We have a distribution warehouse in Dublin and Warrington and regularly supply events all over the UK and Ireland. In addition, we support many customers at international events throughout the year, including Gulfoods in Dubai, Sial Paris, Anuga Cologne. Where possible we try to keep the branded customers' units in storage if attending multiple events, to use again at their next event.

Are there any additional services or add-ons available, such as customisation?

What condition will the hire products arrive in?

All products will be delivered onsite ready for immediate use. All our electrical equipment is thoroughly checked and PAT tested before dispatch. We shrink-wrap all the units to protect them in transit and to maintain any specialised branding.

How far in advance do I need to book the equipment for my event?

The booking deadline is 14 working days before an event.

I am a member of the public and just want to hire some items for a family event at home. Is this possible?

No. Our company just offers a business-to-business (B2B) rental for commercial equipment. We do not provide equipment for domestic use.
