We’re proud to announce that Hire-Innovation is sponsoring the 2016 Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards! The Awards are now in their ninth year and celebrate the best in Irish food and drink produce. More than 2500 products are entering the 2016 Awards, with over 100 categories up for grabs. It is the biggest competition for quality Irish produce on the island of Ireland!
The Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards takes place in Dingle, County Kerry, later this month. In addition to the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in the various categories, there are also key awards such as Supreme Champion and Best Artisan Producer. All the winners are due to be revealed on 1 October – and Hire-Innovation is delighted to be sponsoring this prestigious event.

Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards: About The Event
The awards are the “biggest blind tasting of produce in the country”. The judging criteria and system from Blas na hEireann and UCC’s Food Science Dept are recognised as a global industry standard. And research shows the Blas accreditation has the highest awareness among shoppers in Ireland. It lets consumers know they are getting a top quality Irish product!
