Event Planning & Delivery
Your event has a fixed opening time. Our job is to make sure the climate control is ready before it.
We design, install and commission temporary heating, cooling and ventilation around your venue, build programme and guest areas. From the first build day to final take-down, we work alongside your event team, with engineers on site throughout wherever you need them.
We're project managers and engineers at heart, with the experience to deliver event environments that perform from start to finish.
Our experience spans international sporting events, premium hospitality and major public events, including the BMW PGA Championship, Scottish Open, Irish Open, Queen’s Club, Wimbledon and the London 2012 Olympics. With temporary power, refrigeration, ducting and supporting equipment available alongside climate control, we can coordinate the wider temporary infrastructure through one specialist team.
What we offer
From individual hospitality spaces to complex multi-zone event builds, we design temporary HVAC around the structure, event programme and conditions on site. Our engineers work alongside event organisers, contractors and technical teams from initial planning through to installation, commissioning and event support.

Air handling units can be built into temporary walls and concealed behind panelling or indirect heaters connected to discreet white ducting, distributing warm or cool air evenly through even the largest marquees. The result is effective climate control without visible plant disrupting the guest environment.

Temporary ventilation and fresh-air systems designed around the size and layout of the venue, using fans, air movers and ducting to bring fresh air in and move stale air out across large marquees, multi-level structures and repurposed event spaces.

Event refrigeration and catering equipment planned around your build and event schedule. Our specialist refrigeration team manages chilled and frozen displays (suitable for branding), storage, catering and beverage equipment — including delivery, installation, technical support where required and removal after the event.

Bespoke air handling unit hire including low loss headers, heat exchangers, and dosing pots — engineered to your specific site requirements.

Generator hire to support your chiller or HVAC installation, ensuring continuous operation during planned or emergency scenarios.

Work with our team to build a bespoke contingency plan for your site — ensuring a rapid, pre-agreed response if critical cooling systems fail.

Tailored Event Climate Control
No two events are the same, so we assess the structure, layout, occupancy and temperature zones, then design the heating, cooling and ventilation around them.
A marquee, multi-level hospitality structure or permanent venue each presents different climate-control requirements. Our engineers plan around build schedules, other contractors, restricted access and the demands of a live event. Plant positioning, air distribution and independently controlled adjacent zones for heating or cooling zones are specified to suit your event.
Equipment can be discreetly integrated to minimise noise and visual impact in guest-facing areas. It’s an approach refined over decades of delivering climate control for prestigious sporting, exhibition and hospitality events across the UK, Europe and internationally — where planning, presentation and attention to detail are critical.
Why CRS
Tailored event solutions from individual generator or HVAC hire to fully managed climate control, power and refrigeration packages. With flexibility to adapt as requirements change.

Our specialist engineers work alongside event managers, contractors and technical teams, coordinating installation, discreet integration and removal around demanding build and take-down schedules.

Decades of specialist engineering event experience, delivering climate control for prestigious sporting, hospitality and exhibition events in the UK, Europe and internationally. Long-standing relationships with event organisers, contractors and build teams, reflect the trust built through years of working together.

Heating, cooling, ventilation, generators, fuel management, refrigeration and catering equipment coordinated across our specialist teams. CRS is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified, F-Gas registered and a member of the Hire Association Europe. Documentation for every unit is available on request.

Equipment positioning, ducting and air distribution are planned to minimise noise and visual impact in guest-facing environments.

Event engineers manage installation and commissioning, with on-site engineering support available during the live event, where required, with 24/7 support throughout the hire.

Nine (9) depots across the UK & Ireland provide a strong operational base for event projects at home and overseas.

What working with us looks like
We manage event climate control from the initial brief through to final removal, coordinating with your wider event team and programme throughout.

Real-world results

7 November 2025
A 19.47MW climate control installation across two prestigious London art fairs maintained precise temperatures to protect valuable artworks and keep visitors comfortable.

5 February 2026
With conferences and a wedding approaching, an 80kW chiller, 100kW air handler and generator restored ballroom cooling at a Heathrow hotel.
Got a question?
Early involvement gives our engineers time to review the structure, site layout, build programme and climate control requirements, especially for multi-structure or multi-week builds. Get in touch as soon as your dates and site plan are confirmed to secure availability and give our engineers time to design the right solution. [Events team to confirm their preferred lead time / stage of the event build.]
Yes. We deliver and install ahead of your event and collect once the show ends, so your team isn't managing logistics on-site.
On-site engineering support can be provided where required, backed by 24/7 technical support. The level of support is agreed around the scale and requirements of the event.
We design the system around the structure, layout, occupancy and required temperature zones. Heating, cooling and ventilation equipment can be positioned outside or discreetly integrated, with ducting used to distribute warm, cool or fresh air throughout the space.
Our engineers assess the size and volume of the structure, expected occupancy, internal heat loads, required temperatures and likely weather conditions. We use this information to calculate the heating or cooling requirement and specify the equipment and air distribution needed for the space.
Yes. Our engineers assess your full site — marquees, hospitality suites, back-of-house — and design one coordinated solution across every structure, rather than treating each tent as a separate job, with independently controlled zones where different conditions are required.
Yes. Our event engineers coordinate with organisers, contractors and technical teams, planning delivery, installation, commissioning and removal around the wider build and take-down schedule.
Yes. We can provide heating, cooling, ventilation, generators, fuel management and ancillaries, alongside specialist refrigeration and catering equipment from our coordinated events team. [Events team to confirm what contingency/redundancy can be offered — e.g. standby equipment, additional capacity or other backup arrangements.]
Yes. Our specialist event team delivers projects across the UK, Europe and internationally, from individual event structures to major sporting, hospitality, conferences and exhibition events.
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, our engineers are on standby for the duration of your event, backed by 24/7 nationwide support and 9 depots across the UK & Ireland — so a fault gets a fast response.
Involve our events team early, so we can work with the project team to understand the structure, programme and your climate control needs. Call today so we can develop the right solution for your next event.
