Keep Plant Running
Temporary boilers, heaters and generators depend on a consistent fuel supply. We can arrange bunded tanks, monitor fuel levels and coordinate regular top-ups so your team does not have to manage every delivery. Fuel management is an optional service that can be added to your equipment hire, with fuel supply, tank hire, remote monitoring and replenishment combined into one rental package and price.
Fuel demand can change with operating hours, weather and the equipment on site. We plan replenishment around those requirements, with fuel delivered through regional partners, including Scotland. Fuel requirements are managed throughout the hire, including final deliveries to help minimise unnecessary fuel costs and surplus fuel at the end of the contract.

Why choose CRS
Bunded fuel tanks provide storage alongside hired equipment. Remote telemetry can give visibility of remaining fuel and help us plan deliveries as consumption changes. We consider tank location, access and expected demand when agreeing the arrangement.
Why choose CRS
CRS’s unique Equipment as a Service model gives businesses the flexibility to scale without capital expenditure. As part of the £100 million Cross Group, we combine the resources of a large group with the agility of a specialist rental business — backed by a nationwide network of depots and fully qualified engineers.

Team
We believe our employees and the culture we have created are the backbone of our success. Our experienced board, executive and leadership teams work to ensure Cross Rental Services Group focuses on innovation and performance for our customers.
Why CRS
Six reasons customers choose Cross Rental Services for temporary cooling, from the size of the fleet to the people who install it.
From 5 kW portable units to 1 MW packaged chillers, our fleet covers process cooling, comfort cooling and low-temperature applications. Whatever the duty, we have a unit ready to ship.

Every hire starts with a conversation about your site. We size the plant, plan the pipework and power, and design a temporary system that fits around your operation rather than the other way round.

Our team of fully qualified engineers operates nationwide, both in the field and from our depots. Each engineer is highly experienced and holds the necessary certifications, including Gas Safe registration for gas installations and OFTEC accreditation for oil systems. This guarantees expert service and adherence to all relevant safety and industry standards.

CRS is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified, F-Gas registered and a member of the Hire Association Europe. Documentation for every unit is available on request.

Breakdowns do not keep office hours. Our support line is staffed around the clock and an engineer can be on site or a replacement unit on the road within hours.

With depots across Ireland and the UK we deliver to city centres, remote sites and everything in between, and our engineers know the local requirements at each.

What our clients say
“CRS delivered a complex multi-site refrigeration rollout on time and within budget. Their engineers were professional throughout and the aftercare support has been excellent.”

James Whitfield
Facilities Manager, Whitfield Retail Group
“When our chiller failed on a Friday evening CRS had a temporary unit running before the weekend was out. That kind of response is why we keep coming back.”
Sarah O’Neill
