What we offer
Quality Air Management Hire Services
Short- and long-term hire to control humidity, moisture, airflow and airborne contaminants in commercial, industrial and sensitive environments.

Ventilation & Air Movement
Fans, air movers and extraction units to introduce fresh air, remove stale air and move air through enclosed spaces. Built for industrial and sensitive environments, with options for drying, dust control and odour dilution.

Dehumidification, Humidification & Drying
Protect stock, processes and operations from excess humidity and moisture in commercial and industrial environments. Dehumidifiers, humidifiers and drying for accelerated drying, flood recovery, reducing frost and ice in cold environments, and controlling moisture-sensitive processes.

Air Purification
Reduce airborne particles and contaminants to maintain cleaner, controlled environments. HEPA filtration and heat-based decontamination units treat rooms and surfaces without chemicals, supporting hygiene-critical operations and sensitive applications.

Air Handling Units
Bespoke air handling unit hire including low loss headers, heat exchangers, and dosing pots — engineered to your specific site requirements.

Generator Hire
Generator hire to support your chiller or HVAC installation, ensuring continuous operation during planned or emergency scenarios.

Contingency Planning
Work with our team to build a bespoke contingency plan for your site — ensuring a rapid, pre-agreed response if critical cooling systems fail.

Engineered Quality Air Management
Engineered around the conditions on site
Air quality equipment doesn’t work in isolation. Relative humidity (RH) and temperature are directly linked. Dehumidification holds RH steady. Heating and cooling hold temperature steady. Get the balance wrong and you increase the risk of condensation, mould, or stock damage, even with a working dehumidifier.
Before we specify, our engineers assess room size, existing air handling, moisture load from product or process, temperature requirements, building fabric and air infiltration. The result is one engineered solution, with temperature, humidity and airflow managed together.
- Site assessment and environmental monitoring
- Planned, reactive or emergency hire
- Existing HVAC and site conditions considered
- Equipment specified for the cause, not just the symptom
- Heating, cooling and dehumidification engineered to work together
- Airflow, ventilation and filtration incorporated where required
- Sanitised units and new ducting for hygiene-sensitive sites
- Installation, commissioning and ongoing engineering support
Operational Protection
Rapid environmental control for damp and mould response
Excess moisture, airborne dust and inadequate ventilation can do more than make a workplace uncomfortable. They can damage stock, delay construction programmes, affect manufacturing processes and create problems in occupied buildings.
Whether you're managing a sensitive production environment, drying a building after water damage or controlling dust during refurbishment, our engineers assess the conditions and specify the right combination of equipment to help keep work moving.
- Protect stock, materials and sensitive processes
- Rapid-response dehumidification and temporary climate control
- Temperature and relative humidity assessment
- Ventilation and airflow support where required
- Reduce disruption from moisture, condensation and airborne dust
- Support drying programmes and flood recovery
- Environmental monitoring during the hire period
- Manage airflow in occupied and industrial environments
- Equipment delivery, installation and engineering support
- Help with full compliance and sourcing a permanent solution.
- Short- and long-term hire, installed and supported by our engineers

Why CRS
Benefits of hiring quality air management from us
You don't need to know what's causing the problem before contacting us. Our engineers assess temperature, relative humidity, moisture and airflow to understand the conditions on site. We then recommend equipment suited to your building, process and operational requirements.

Air quality problems rarely have a one-size-fits-all solution. We can combine dehumidification, heating, cooling, ventilation and filtration where required, creating a temporary solution that works with your existing systems and helps maintain the conditions your operation needs.

From industrial dehumidifiers and drying equipment to ventilation fans, air scrubbers and HEPA filtration, we provide specialist equipment for commercial, industrial and sensitive environments. Our engineers select the appropriate units and capacity for your application, rather than simply supplying equipment off the shelf.

We manage more than equipment delivery. Our engineers can install, commission and maintain your temporary air management solution, with ongoing technical support throughout the hire period. Filter replacement and equipment servicing can also be incorporated where required.

Whether you're preparing for planned works, accelerating a drying programme or responding to flooding and unexpected moisture problems, we can help restore control of site conditions. Short- and long-term hire options give you flexibility as requirements change.

With nine depots across the UK and Ireland, we support commercial and industrial customers across a wide range of sectors. Our engineering teams provide installation, maintenance and 24/7 support, helping you manage air quality requirements wherever your operation is based.

Got a question?
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Quality Air Management cover?
Ventilation, air purification, dust control, and dehumidification or humidification — including specialised humidity control for product manufacturing. Equipment is available on short- or long-term hire.
How do I know if I have a temperature or a humidity problem?
You do not need to diagnose it before contacting us. Temperature and relative humidity (RH) interact, while moisture and airflow can also affect conditions. Our engineers measure what is happening on site and identify what needs controlling before equipment is specified.
What’s the difference between a desiccant and a refrigerant dehumidifier?
Refrigerant (DX) dehumidifiers control moisture on a cooled coil and suit warmer spaces. Desiccant dehumidifiers absorb moisture using a desiccant material, so they keep working at low temperatures and where very dry air is needed, such as cold stores and sensitive processes. We specify the type one site conditions are measured.
What relative humidity should I maintain?
There is no single RH level that suits every application. The right conditions depend on the building, process, product, materials and operating environment. We specify around the conditions your operations need.
Can you control humidity across large commercial and industrial spaces?
Yes. Larger or more complex spaces may require multiple units, error distribution and a combination of humidification heating or ventilation. We assess the site before specifying any rental solution.
Can you dehumidify cold stores and freezers?
Yes. Warm, humid air entering during door openings causes frost on evaporative coils, icing and wet, slippery floors. Low-temperature dehumidification treats the air entering the space, reducing icing and defrost cycles.
Can heating, cooling and humidity control be used together?
Yes. Temperature and RH influence each other. Where required, our engineers integrate our dehumidification units with your existing heating and cooling, or supply heating and cooling alongside it.
How does emergency flood recovery hire work?
We provide a combination of drying, dehumidification and heating for emergency flood recovery, domestic or commercial, with 24/7 support and nationwide delivery within 24 hours, where feasible.
What is the difference between air purification and ventilation?
Air purification uses filtration to reduce airborne particles, Ventilation introduces, extracts or moves air to manage error changes and airflow. They solve different problems and can be combined where the application requires it.
What is thermal disinfection and how does it work?
Our TES 200 units combine heat-based decontamination with H14 HEPA filtration to treat rooms and surfaces without chemicals — spaces can be reoccupied immediately after treatment.
Can temporary equipment help manage damp and mould in social housing?
Yes. Temporary dehumidification, heating, ventilation and environmental monitoring can help manage indoor conditions while the underlying cause is investigated and remedial works are arranged. Our engineers assess the property and recommend suitable equipment to support the response.
